SUMMARY:
Entitled “Miss Direction,” DC Comics released this 32-page issue for July 2021. Held at gunpoint, a wounded Selina reveals to Siddhart Roy how she and her undercover team rescued a captive and mind-rattled Poison Ivy from his heavily-guarded mansion. Selina & Roy’s confrontation ends in an inexplicable suicide prompted by someone called Simon Saint.
Later, with a mysterious trench coat-and-fedora clad ally, Selina discusses protecting Ivy below an abandoned train station in its twisting network of tunnels. Selina, however, doesn’t know who this stranger is. She soon gladly reunites with a recuperating Ivy. Of Selina’s young allies, Leo Carreras is missing, as he faces a potentially grim fate.
In Gotham, Selina’s ruthless new antagonist: Simon Saint, plots vengeance upon Selina & Ivy. His primary weapon is the hologram-like, scantily-clad Rhea (aka the Wight Witch), who also eerily resembles Selina.

REVIEW:
Between Ram V’s plotting and the art-squad’s high-end visuals (including the cover image), this creative team delivers the necessary goods. Even if this particular storyline isn’t a must-have, Catwoman # 31 conjures up a satisfying read.
